Club Programs

Program Levels for the 2026-2027 Season

 ACES & STARS Teams

Developmental & Practice VB Programs

Ages: (U10-14 Aces) & (U15-18 Stars)

Our ACES & STARS Teams provide volleyball learning opportunities to athletes who are not offered a spot on a Regional or Select team. Also a great option for athletes who are not available to commit to a full club season. Players may have an opportunity to fill-in on Regional teams for
practices & tournaments if player(s) are needed.

  • ACES Season: Early Nov. - Feb.

  • STARS Season:  Mid-Nov. - Mar. 

  • Practice:  1x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Coach to Athlete ratio: apprx 1 coach per 10-14 players

  • No Tournaments

  • Scheduled Scrimmages (Dates TBD)

  • Uniform: Tryout T-Shirts
    (included in Tryout Fee)

  • Will need to register for Tryouts

  • Can attend tryouts for the experience but
    not required to make the team

  • Travel no more than 45min from DeForest

  • Fee: $595  (Includes coaches' travel)                 - All inclusive - No added fees -

Regional Teams

Ages: U10-U18

Our North Star Regional Teams provide volleyball opportunities to athletes who are not offered a spot on a Select team. Also for athletes who are not available to commit to a full Select club season.  Regional Teams will play at Regional level events and have the opportunity to be selected for the Select Team. Plus extended season possibilities.

  • U14 & under teams start early Nov.

  • U15 and older teams start mid-Nov.

  • Season usually ends in March -

  • Practice:  2x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Usually 10-12 players per team 

  • 4 - One Day Tournaments - TBD

  • 1 - Two Day Tournament  - TBD

  • Scrimmage opportunities

  • Opportunity to participate on Select Team
    and or extended season

  • 1 Uniform jersey + 1 pair of arm sleeves

  • Team warmup shirt 

  • Team warmup jacket

  • Fee: $1185  (Includes coaches' travel fee)               - All inclusive - No added fees -

Select Teams

Ages: U12-U18

North Star Select Teams provide volleyball  opportunities to our Top Level athletes who rank in the upper level for their age group. Select Teams will be provided team skill level appropriate tournament opportunities both in state and possibly out of state. Your coach will discuss with the team. Select players also have the possibility for an extended season.

  • U14 & under teams start early Nov.

  • U15 and older teams start mid-Nov. 

  • Season usually ends March - April

  • Practice: 2-3x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Usually 10-12 players per team 

  • 5 - One Day Tournaments - TBD

  • 3 - Two Day Tournament  - TBD

  • Scrimmage opportunities

  • Opportunity to participate in ext. season

  • 2 Uniform jerseys + 1 pair of arm sleeves

  • Team warmup shirt Included

  • Team warmup jacket

  • Travel out of state possible

ACES & STARS Program

​Why an ACES/STARS Program?

At North Star, we believe in creating volleyball opportunities for every skill level and truly do not want to discourage a child from pursuing a passion for our favorite sport.  Our ACES/STARS Teams will be run as "IN HOUSE" teams and a lot like a camp/clinic.  With this structure, we are able  provide the opportunity to most amount of players and help to provide a positive and productive environment for our community to be involved in.

 

What is the ACES/STARS Program?

These North Star programs are designed to create opportunities for athletes who are starting out and developing within the sport of volleyball.  Most ACES/STARS Teams are made up of athletes who do not receive an offer from another club or have been evaluated by North Star and placed in the program for further development.

 

Who Coaches the ACES/STARS Program? 

These North Star programs will be coached by multiple coaches within our club.  Each week, a new coach will provide great drills and feedback to our ACES/STARS participants.

Practices: The ACES & STARS practices will be scheduled 1.5hrs/one night a week. Aces will run from October to February.  Stars will run from November to March. 


Scrimmages: There will be scrimmages scheduled starting in December.  Scrimmages will be scheduled at least 1x per month.  We will scrimmage other North Star Teams as well as other club teams upon availability.  Parents will be encouraged to come and watch!

Tournaments: At this time, there will be no tournaments scheduled for our ACES & STARS Teams.
