  Tryouts in Summer ?
 

Yes, it is true. North Star VBC will host our club tryouts for the 2024-25 season on July 20 & 21 at Harvest Interm. School.  The Badger Region voted to adopt the summer tryout changes, similar to what the other USAV regions have made.

- Summer SMASH! Camp -
Join us for another Summer of volleyball.
This 3 week camp covers all skills to get player ready for tryouts and school vball.

 

  Updates at Leeds
 

The workout area at Leeds is ready!
Players will be able to work out with their team or sign up for weekend sessions.
Session times will be sent to players.

We are hoping to get the new sport court floor installed this spring/summer.

CLUB TEAMS for the 2023-2024 SEASON

 ACES & STARS Teams

Developmental & Practice VB Programs

Ages: (U10-14 Aces) & (U15-18 Stars)

Our ACES & STARS Teams provide volleyball learning opportunities to athletes who are not offered a spot on a Regional or Select team. Also a great option for athletes who are not available to commit to a full club season. Players may have an opportunity to fill-in on Regional teams if player(s) are needed.

  • ACES Season: Oct. - Feb.

  • STARS Season:  Nov. - Mar. 

  • Practice:  1x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Coach to Athlete ratio: apprx 1 coach per 10-14 players

  • No Tournaments

  • Scheduled Scrimmages (Dates TBD)

  • Uniform: Tryout T-Shirts (included in Tryout Fee)

  • Will need to register for Tryouts

  • Can attend tryouts for the experience but
    not required to make the team

  • Travel no more than 45min from DeForest

  • Fee: $495  (Includes coaches' travel)                 - All inclusive - No added fees -

Regional Teams

Ages: U10-U18

Our North Star Regional Teams provide volleyball opportunities to athletes who are not offered a spot on a Select team. Also for athletes who are not available to commit to a full Select club season.  Regional Teams will play at Regional level events and have the opportunity to be selected for the Select Team.

  • U14 & under teams start late October

  • U15 and older teams start November

  • Season Ends March - April

  • Practice:  2x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Usually 10 players per team 

  • 4 - One Day Tournaments - TBD

  • 1 - Two Day Tournament  - TBD

  • Scrimmage opportunities

  • Opportunity to participate on Select Team

  • 1 Uniform jersey Included in Club Fee

  • Team warmup shirt Included

  • Strength & Agility (Regional program Included)

  • Travel is no more than 2.5hrs from DeForest

  • Fee: $1035  (Includes coaches' travel fee)               - All inclusive - No added fees -

Select Teams

Ages: U12-U18

North Star Select Teams provide volleyball  opportunities to our Top Level athletes who rank in the top 10 of their age group. Select Teams will be provided level appropriate tournament opportunities.

  • U14 & under teams start late October

  • U15 and older teams start November 

  • Season Ends March - April

  • Practice: 2-3x per week

  • Practice Location: DeForest, Windsor,
    Sun Prairie, and our Leeds gym

  • Practice Schedule: TBD

  • Usually 10 players per team 

  • 5 - One Day Tournaments - TBD

  • 3 - Two Day Tournament  - TBD

  • Scrimmage opportunities

  • Opportunity to participate on elite team

  • 3 Uniform jerseys Included in club fee

  • Team warmup shirt Included

  • Strength & Agility (Select Program Included)

  • Travel out of state possible

  • Fee: $1925  (Includes coaches' travel fee)          - All inclusive - No added fees -
